Check the volume control at the top-left corner of the iTunes window. It must be set properly. We recommend setting this volume slider at 80% volume level (Refer to the DPS Setup section of this Help Guide for further explanation). To adjust the “listening volume,” use the volume keys on your computer’s keyboard.

Distortion and degradation of the audio will also occur when another plug-in such as the iTunes “Equalizer” or iTunes “Sound Enhancement” is engaged. Be sure any other plug-ins including the iTunes “Equalizer” is “OFF”. They can all be accessed under the iTunes “Window” menu.
